Okay, I'll update when I'm not on a proxy. As for the original question, has this been implemented? I understand there is a new beta but the fix for this went in a year ago. Is 2.0.6 that old?

No, it's not. This issue was closed more than a year ago, these updates are present in 2.0.6 stable. If your watcher is not catching file changes, feel free to open a new issue.

But yes you should use the edge version unless you are dependent on deployers, which is the only piece that's not yet stable in the edge version.
