ensure even if contents not yet loaded? about gulp-buffer HOT 2 CLOSED

From what I understand you would like to have an option so that if gulp-buffer (or gulp-stream) sees a Null file content, then it would read the file from disk (using the filename).

I think that it would be better to have a dedicated plugin for that maybe you can write it if it does not yet exist. it could be named gulp-lazy-read or something.

In fact, I don't like the idea that filenameshould always be present in a vinyl descriptor so I don't want to add a dependency on filename in gulp-stream or gulp-buffer.

I think there should be more "sourcing" plugins since content not always come from a filename on disk.

I haven't looked into it but it would be nice to have sourcing plugins for dropbox, google drive, postgres, mysql, urls, or things like that. Content could come from anywhere in fact.
