@cugu I think it's because flatten matches on []interface{}.
So, e.g.
nestedMap := map[string]interface{}{
"one": map[string]interface{}{
"two": []string{"2a", "2b"},
"three": []string{},
},
"side": "value",
}yields
map[one.three:[] one.two:[2a 2b] side:value]
whereas
nestedMap := map[string]interface{}{
"one": map[string]interface{}{
"two": []interface{}{"2a", "2b"},
"three": []interface{}{},
},
"side": "value",
}yields
map[one.two.0:2a one.two.1:2b side:value]
from flatten.
