Linux: Connection refused about zyklon HOT 20 CLOSED

I believe I have found the source of this. For some reason, the cloud.sh file is not created in the current directory, but instead in the home directory. Weirdly enough though, when I move all the files into the home directory, I still get the same error. Is the cloud.sh file being created in the home directory, instead of the current one intended behavior?

as for the load button doing nothing, the reason for that is because the "java_home" variable isnt set correctly. it's set to the jre instead of the jdk folder

as for the cloud.sh file, thats supposed to be created in the current directory. it should not do that

Ah, my mistake. I believed I have corrected the location of the jdk(?), but I am still getting the same error.

Sorry if I'm making a stupid mistake again, I am very new to linux.

looks like it's set correctly now so that issue shouldnt be happening, can you try opening up injector.jar from terminal, try to load it, and show me what it says? command is java -jar injector.jar

Can anyone else reproduce this? Using the prebuilt version from the releases tab.

My best guess (from the fact that I get a different error when I manually start the server, which is probably unrelated to this one): The cloud.sh file isn't being run, or has a delay big enough that java trys to connect before the server starts.

My best guess (from the fact that I get a different error when I manually start the server, which is probably unrelated to this one): The cloud.sh file isn't being run, or has a delay big enough that java trys to connect before the server starts.

he just tried a different version of the jdk and it worked with the very same binaries he had before, there wasnt really a solution. super weird because both times he used jdk 8 from oracle.

make sure you installed the correct jdk architecture for your system. for example another common problem is you installed jdk 8 32 bit when youre on 64 bit.

he used the binaries in the releases tab. probably the last 3 things I can recommend:

1. checking the java_home variable again (echo $JAVA_HOME). I've seen some cases where it changes randomly
2. trying without multi MC
3. make absolutely sure that you installed the official java jdk 8 64/32 bit in accordance to your arch from oracle.com

another thing I'd like to take a look at is the installation folder for both the jdk and jre. this is mine, for example:

Try sudo'ing the injector and see if that helps. Also feel free to try the jar I sent in the workupload, all though I had semi luck with that.

Btw, I usally get those errors and don't need to start the node server manually. If it bugs out, I usally kill the node process and then start the injector again.
