Hey @prayag17 I appreciate the feedback!
You may have noticed that the design has reverted to a previous iteration. This was primarily because we wanted to use docusaurus to power the site instead of rolling a custom gatsby site when docusaurus seems like a good fit for our current needs (basic site + blog + docs).
Right now the main focus is on getting the current blog and docs sites ported over and the design we are mostly sticking with what we can easily achieve out of the box with docusaurus that is similar to the current site.
I'm definitely not opposed to a more complete redesign in the future, but it's not a top priority at the moment. I would certainly appreciate feedback on any enhancements you feel could be made to the current design on next.jellyfin.org... there are definitely areas that could use refinement. 🙂
Overall I really do like the design you have done here. Some more specific feedback (and some of these may not have even been changed by you):
- the hero gradient color seems a bit off (green-ish hue)
- I'm really not a fan of the pink/orange coloring... I know there were reasons why it was made that color, but it seems out of place to me
- love the gradient at the bottom
- in general I prefer a dark theme by default
Disclaimer: I am not a designer and never claim to be 😉
