I went with Sticker Mule. They had great fast service and the print matched my design far better than I expected. I have zero complaints.

Can you drop what you're thinking about getting printed here? May be able to get GitHub to print them the next time we do a sticker run.
Also, http://octodex.github.com/labtocat/ may be of interest.

I was thinking that the test tube is iconic enough. I'd only want to print them if @cobyism is OK with it. Probably 3" or 4" tall and 2" wide (and cocked slightly to the right, as below):
The nice dark grey background would be trimmed to about 2mm around the edges maybe, following the pattern of the tube?

Yeah, I think there’d be interest in stickers, and I’m totally

@cobyism I'd love to have both, for sure. :) The test tube is a bit more subtle and may spark the question, "hey, what's that?" after which a consequent conversation ensues about Jekyll and how cool it is.
How would you have the one with the wordmark printed?

@parkr I’d probably do the word + test-tube with a white keyline around the outside and the rest transparent (if that’s easy to do with wherever they’ll be printed?). Here’s a quick/crude mockup of that:

@cobyism That looks amazing!
@benbalter Would you check with the GitHub Sticker People and let me know? I'm happy to print a small run myself if it's not something GH can do. :)

Will do, but since GitHub doesn't own the
from brand.
@benbalter Yeah, and neither do I. If it's under the MIT License (as specified in this repo), do you think it's ok to print without @cobyism's direct permission for every printing?
from brand.
Yup. I'd argue that the content was submitted under the same license as the project is distributed (+ doubt @cobyism's gonna sue you).
from brand.
I'd agree with your argument, especially given the LICENSE shipped with this repo, presumably covering the logos here ;)

I'd recommend dropping the gradient and shadows before printing.
Here's a look at the alteration rendered with a white border:
Here's an svg with the corrections already made.
I'm not sure who GitHub uses to print stickers, but Sticker Mule handled adding the border for my Octopress and Compass stickers. It was a pretty easy process.

@imathis That looks awesome, I was just going to suggest the changes you made. We've used StickerMule for several years at GitHub and they are AWESOME. I'd love to see these made.

Boom.
If anyone wants to print their own stickers, I used these files in dimensions 4" x 2" from StickerMule!

Glad you got them @mojombo! Hopefully there will be more in the Shop soon enough
