I just found the problem: i was running webpack with --optimize-minimize which applies Uglify after it runs the plugins
I find it really weird that using Uglify on the obfuscated code de-obfuscates array strings.

What options you used for webpack-obfuscator? There are no any other plugins that modify code after webpack-obfuscator plugin?

I'm still curious on why would it deobfuscate those strings.. not even jsbeautify achieves this

Strings in this format are called - Unicode Array Sequence. Maybe there some option for keep those strings in this format?
