- Changed title: *Error when adding an application to monitor in the collector (application uses ehcache 1.7) *
from javamelody.
I have added the following jars in WEB-INF/lib
- ehcache-core-1.7.2.jar
- slf4j-api-1.5.8.jar
- slf4j-log4j12-1.5.8.jar
And it works better.

Yes, I have come to see that the centralized collect server has a runtime
dependency
to ehcache if the monitored application uses ehcache.
It is a bug.
The workaround is indeed to add those 3 jar files in the directory WEB-INF/lib
of
javamelody-1.11.1.war for the centralized collect server.

Hi,
Just tested today with war collector 1.12.0 and it breaks without adding
ehcahce/slf4j
jars (now quartz jar too).

Yes thanks. I must not have tested that quite well.
It should be fixed now : I added the ehcache-core-1.7.2.jar and
quartz-1.5.2.jar in
javamelody-1.12.0.war in "Downloads" (there was only one download)
Since you are here : you should know that my pom.xml must have been modified
since
maven checkstyle plugin 2.5. configLocation=.checkstyle.xml is not found
anymore ...
I finally found that "${basedir}/.checkstyle.xml" is necessary now

argh sure I know this "issue" :-) .
Have a look here : http://jira.codehaus.org/browse/MCHECKSTYLE-131.
IMHO it's very ambiguous issue.

Surely yes. But even if I am not a maven expert, I think that my javamelody-core
pom.xml does not have a parent project. (Perhaps it should but it does not.)
So I think that my configLocation was just relative to current project.

Yes sure you're right.
If you have time, can you load an issue here :
