Hello, the mod should work with any joystick and does not require any other mods. If you have your joystick configured for frontloader work you do not have to assign them for acceleration/deceleration as the mod uses the frontloader axes by default.
However you have to assign a button to enable/disable the drive lever. If enabled you can use it for acceleration/deceleration, if disabled you can use your frontloader.

This is how I have configured it for myself:

If I press button 4 on my joystick, I can enable/disable the drive lever. You will see that is enabled if those numbers show up in your HUD:

If it is enabled and you move your joystick forward you should see that your cruise control turns on and the speed will move up. Pull your joystick slightly back to get slower or pull it back completely for full stop.

You can assign another button to save the current speed as maximum.
You will also notice that the numbers in the HUD turn green when you lower an implement. This is so you can save two different speeds for work and normal driving.

I always wanted to make a short video to explain all those things but I wasn't sure if the effort is worth it since this mod isn't really popular.
