Hi @code-patricio, thanks for the issue. I just pushed a fix for this to main. I've disabled the module by default and also ensured that it can only be enabled by the user if cmp is available. Please pull the update and let me know if you have any issues with it.

hey @jakewvincent . I was going to complain that why is cmp disabled by default, but seeing this it makes sense..
An improvement can be to keep nvim-cmp as a requirement for mkdnflow .
But more than that, the instructions in the README are not enough to enable cmp.. I think you should also mention enabling the module in mkdnflow setup along with adding in cmp source.
