The Problem Locate an interface component on a website that you use frequently that you think could be improved. The improvement should be minor. Take a screenshot of the interface on both a mobile and desktop device. Then, sketch or illustrate your alternate/"b" test. Finally, describe modification and the HTML, CSS, and JavaScript that you would need to write in order to conduct the test. Create a compelling single-page design that features a sign-up process to get new users to join some type of project, such as an email list, a software beta test, or an open-source community. Focus is on designing for an effortless, engaging entry of personal information; and friendly, frictionless client-side tests and alerts for malformed, missing, or incomplete information. The goal of this project is to experiment with patterns of interaction that persuade someone to sign up for whatever it is you’re offering.

Summer IPRO: Neuromuscular Diseases - A simple pneumatic device that allows for the upper arm to raise to a user specified level. It's mainly useful for patients with neuromuscular diseases, spinal cord injuries, and stroke victims.
