Totally right. that is confusing. If you have a better idea for that, change it please :)
Yes I had this sometimes that the debug node doesn't draw itself again, I hadn't found the reason for this yet

Have had the same experience with the debug node. Sometimes it works, sometimes not. I have found that when I deactivate the add-on and reactivate it works again.

Apparently,the Start value is based on index, while End is actually something like "Items" or "Count". This is a bit confusing. We may consider to name it another way?
Is this what you meant? Is this better? If so I will add it to my current or next pull request.

Sorry for late reply! I think you are right azerupi :). I think it would be just Ok to call it "Item" or "Count" or "Length" for short. What's your idea? BTW, I just noticed that when Type was set to String it seems take no effect as it is supposed to be...
