Hi @tjyang - thank you for opening up this issue, I've been meaning on updating but you beat me to it =]
Are you seeing this as a result of running the kitchen tests or is this in a separate VM?
The kitchen tests use pillar.example which has version: 1.6
defined.
If you are getting this from a "real" system and not the test suite, than it may be the case that the pillar needs updating or is cached possibly.
Either way, my guess is that golang:lookup:version
is set to 1.6
and overriding the updated values in defaults.yaml
.
After updating defaults.yaml
to match yours above, bumped the version in pillar.example
and finally updated the tests here and here the tests all pass.
If you want to open a PR with the necessary changes, I can hold off on updating HEAD
. Otherwise I'll push what I've got here.
