Hi, that was correct, yes.

And it's also correct, that my gateway is offline. It no longer exists and I requested the removal from the list, a while ago.

And: The reason for the wrong server location is the outdated geo location package and database.

That's correct, I've deleted the fork. But it was just the same code as used here, but with all nodes removed, except for my own.

@SoftCreatR Let me see if I understand this issue correctly..

  1. You added a public gateway to https://ipfs.github.io/public-gateway-checker/
  2. Your gateway supports origin isolation, but it's showing a caution symbol (⚠️) in the public-gateway-checker's origin column
  3. Your gateway had an American flag next to it instead of a German flag (This issue seems to have resolved itself)
  4. When you forked the repository and ran it with only your gateway listed, it showed the correct details.

Is this all correct?

Viewing the public-gateway-checker right now, I can see the following:
image

Which means we have two remaining problems, in order:

  • Your gateway seems to be offline. Is this expected?
  • public-gateway-checker doesn't (always) collect correct metadata about gateways; potentially due to checking a large list. The issue was resolved once when checking a single gateway

Am I missing anything?
