Hmm, looks like I don't have an introduction to bumpversion neither. Are you familiar with that tool?

I did install it and looked at the usage, and I have set it up for my project and will use it going forward (unless something better comes my way), but I have never used it before. Seems simple enough. I have disabled tagging of commits though, since I use git flow which should do that for me (haven't used that before either, though I have adhered to the actual workflow).
(In short, the project I'm testing all this on is my first introduction to basically everything concerning Python development except learning Python itself: setuptools, pypi, CI, versioning, packaging, etc.)
