I think it could be reasonable to bump the minimum version to 3.9. Relatedly, we might want to also include 3.12 now that it's out!
Update: torch
does not support Python 3.12 yet, so that will have to wait
from inseq.
Jaxtyping currently requires Python >= 3.9, so we need to increase the minimum Python version from 3.8 to 3.9.

Updating dependencies
Resolving dependencies... (1.5s)
The current project's Python requirement (>=3.8.1,<3.12) is not compatible with some of the required packages Python requirement:
- jaxtyping requires Python ~=3.9, so it will not be satisfied for Python >=3.8.1,<3.9
Because jaxtyping (0.2.23) requires Python ~=3.9
and no versions of jaxtyping match >0.2.23,<0.3.0, jaxtyping is forbidden.
So, because inseq depends on jaxtyping (^0.2.23), version solving failed.
• Check your dependencies Python requirement: The Python requirement can be specified via the `python` or `markers` properties
For jaxtyping, a possible solution would be to set the `python` property to ">=3.9,<3.12"
https://python-poetry.org/docs/dependency-specification/#python-restricted-dependencies,
https://python-poetry.org/docs/dependency-specification/#using-environment-markers
An alternative might be to use an old Jaxtype version, but that seems not ideal either.
@gsarti Any opinion on that?
