You can do that in Larave 5.5. The main purpose of this package is to inform you about job status, execution and progress. It does make sense to keep track of status of multi-thread(multi-job) operation.

I have similar use case, by creating new entity OrderUpload.
Then I can have OrderUploadReadJob, OrderUploadProcessJob, OrderUploadSubmitJob writing progress back to OrderUpload.

But for parallel job dispatching/management, it's another story.

You can use "Improve job_id capture" feature >= 1.0.0 to catch job_id on new jobs.
It also works on chained jobs.
