So, I have checked the SCOOP source code from the latest gihub commit and they appear to have made changes fixing it (For starters, they no longer bother with piping the output of remote workers).

However, if we're not using that then the only suggestion I can offer for now is to reduce the output to stdout to as litte as possible. It would be best if nothing were printed to stdout.

One way to accomplish this is to discard all the logging from the nest library (I have a context manager that can achieve this, will add it to the ltl package), and any relevent messages are to be logged via loggers and the loggers should record to files and not to console. Then, in order to follow the simulation one may use less ... command on the log files.
