But why would you use this library if no refresh tokens are used?

My goal is to enable my client application to connect to my web api while using oidc. Therefore i have two (or one) requirements which are very easily enabled by this library.
(1) Handling of the refresh token
(2) "Inject" the access token in the http header to requests made via httpclient
I see that the bigger benefit of this library is (1). But depending on the oidc client configuration (1) is optional. If (1) can be optional i can use the same few lines of code (AddAccessTokenManagement / AddUserAccessTokenHandler) to connect to my api. Changes in the client configuration would not force me to change any code.
I understand if you consider this as out of scope for this library, nevertheless i think it would be convenient.
