TypeError: Cannot read property 'passport' of undefined on production build about nextjs-starter HOT 1 CLOSED

To fix I edited the initialprops section of _app.js to:

try{ if (ctx.req && ctx.req.session && ctx.req.session.passport) { pageProps.user = ctx.req.session.passport.user; } } catch(error) { console.log(error + " = error from _app get initial props") }

This allowed me to build/run but does not fix the issue of serverside cookie fetching. For this I've started to rebuild my project away from the linked tutorial.
