This one is probably going to be a bit tricky to fix. I'm pretty sure I know whats going on but I'm not sure how the UI should act if the user collapses and then expands the reply they are replying to. I guess it could save a draft?

A draft would be cool, saying I reenter the response box and my text is still there. This would also fulfill the use case if I clicked on the wrong note to answer and navigate to the right one, clicking there to response?

that's my thinking, I just need to find a good way to show a the user has a draft saved so they don't forget. also might be a good idea to have the draft expire after a week or so for privacy reasons
