Add GURU as an alternative option to download XDPH on Gentoo about hyprland-wiki HOT 5 CLOSED

Sure. However, I've noticed that the GURU ebuilds do not have at the moment any use flags like the one in the useless-repo does. There are only two flags: elogind and systemd.

I don't think this means users won't be able to take full advantage of XDPH, but I don't use it myself so I don't know how much different the experience would be. The only meaningful difference I can think of is that you won't be able to select whether to bake some functionality in or not.

Hi, GURU's XDPH ebuild maintainer here.
The useless-overlay's ebuild doesn't do anything much different (besides it's a little outdated as of now), its USE flags just pull in optional packages as a dependency, which is discouraged by the Gentoo Policy Guide.
So if you ask me, it's safe to replace useless-overlay with GURU.
