INFO303 project that was part of a graded assessment. Involved creating an account and sales service which uses Apache Camel routes to communicate with the Vend API to GET, PUT and POST objects such as accounts and sales.

covid19-stat-tracker

ReactJS COVID-19 Statistic Tracker that displays active, recovered and death cases globally. Users have the ability to either search or filter by a specific country to display corresponding cases with a bar chart. Fetches and updates data daily from an API.

dateformat-validator

A Java program takes multiple variations of dates as input and chooses the most probable date format as the valid one. It then rechecks all the input dates and returns and specifies the dates that are in the correct and incorrect format. This was a pair etude in COSC326, but can be used as a general function for validating a collection of dates.

drawing-bus-routes

A Python program that takes bus route source and destination details then generates a .PNG file which visualizes city nodes and highlights the cheapest route. This was a solo etude for COSC326 as a solution for a given problem. This can be used for general purposes to visualize a shortest path between given nodes (not just bus routes).

emailaddress-checker

This is a Java program that takes email addresses as input and points out which emails are invalid and specifically why (e.g. missing '@' sign). This was a solo etude for COSC326, but can be used as a general function for checking a collection of email addresses.

ReactJS & Node.js Imperial Footwear Service. An eCommerce platform where users can purchase and review designer shoes. This includes a functional account service, where users can create and sign in to a personal account to perform interactions.

The New Zealand General Knowledge Quiz is a questionnaire game built using ReactJS. It aims to test users on their knowledge of aspects of NZ, and are marked by a score out of 5. Questions are chosen completely randomly from a list for the user to answer.

INFO202 project that involved creating a Full-Stack Shopping Service. Primarily developed using languages such as Java, JavaScript and HTML/CSS. Involves the use of Java Swing and an H2 Database for managing the back-end of products and customers. The front-end and middleware was built using AJAX with AngularJS and REST web services.

INFO310 project which provides a platform for students and staff members to find research partners that have common research interests and proposals for postgraduate studies. This was designed solely for University of Otago students and staff members.
