While the argument could be made that this package should be more conservative with the extensions it claims as its own, the way to work around this locally is to add a custom file type to your personal config: https://flight-manual.atom.io/using-atom/sections/basic-customization/#customizing-language-recognition

In this case, you'll want to merge this into your config.cson to override:

  core:
    customFileTypes:
      'source.cs': [
        'cs'
      ]

I'll leave this open to discuss revising this package's fileTypes.
