I did not test this lib on android, however it should work for android too. Is this work for you on JDK?
May i get more infos, the stacktrace, and the apk which cause this issue?

ParseUtils.readStringPool() causes silent fail somewhere in the for loop starting on ParseUtils.java#145 (v1.4.5 from mavencentral)
I get no logcat error, it fails on any apk.

You may want to try version 1.4.7. Some bugs introduced by 1.4.5 has been fixed in this latest versoin
