I think @ryanatwork is working on adding back this functionality. In the mean time, you should probably continue to use 0.2.

Thanks for the reply. We would probably revert to 0.2.2 were it not for it being pinned to Nokogiri ~> 1.4.4. We are already on 1.5.0 with that.

Glad to get some confirmation that the version bumped with less functionality; I thought I was missing something. Will consider contributing if I can find the time.

I'm currently in the process of updating the LinkedIn gem with all the functionality.

You can use the 2-0 stable branch from Github - https://github.com/pengwynn/linkedin/tree/2-0-stable

We are grateful for the features this gem provides, but I wanted to suggest that its a bit misleading to bump the gem version while taking away features. Others may also unknowingly grab the latest and be surprised. Granted, tests should reveal something amiss, but that seems a poor path to discovery.

We have now pinned to the stable branch 2.0 branch for now.
