Tested it on android 4.0.3 - Didn't work about phonegap-base64 HOT 8 CLOSED

Can you give it a well known path for you on your sdcard for any image then retest?

Thank you for your answer!
When I put the same path (with the "file://" at the begining) to an
.src it works, and I can see it in my html page.
I think this means the file path is correct right?

Hi,

Thank you very much for fixing it!
But, unfortunately I am not able to build the project after adding this
plugin.

The error is: "An error occured while building the android project.
Buildfile: .../build.xml."

Thank you!
Now it is working (partially).
After conversion, when I set the resulting base64 to an image.src - it
works!
But after uploading it to the server we want to save the base64 as an image
file using php put_file and it didn't work - i got an exception. So i
checked and saw the begining of the base64 string contains "image/*". and I
tried changing it to "image/png" - and the file was saved succesfully! only
the image was broken.. It couldn't be displayed..

Do you know why?

@razwasserstein This plugin is responsable for retrieve the base64 encoding of the image, so about the php code I don't know why this could happen?

I understand my question is out of the plugin's scope.
So my more focused question is, in which type (jpeg/png) the base64
encoding is retrieved by the plugin?
