Yup, this is the only thing blocking me from using Chosen on a current project.

I installed it for my users but had to remove it because of this, its really good and i love it but my users dont :(

yes, the popdown should remain open (sticky) until done selecting, you would not need control click at that point?
onblur would close the popdown.

For now, I've merged a pull request which keeps the search results open when selecting a result while pressing command/ctrl. Will look into drag / shift selecting at a future point.

Echo others' comments - really need to include the ability to allow users 'drag select' plus 'control multiselect' multiple options while the option list is open. These are critical features missing that would otherwise make this a 'must use' plug in.
