That's a good question, +1 for that. Perhaps server command should only be overridden in dev env?

You can always put gem 'hanami-reloader', require: ENV['RACK_ENV'] != 'production' in your Gemfile

@teohm Thanks for reporting this. Two things:

  1. You should add hanami-reloader into the :development group in your Gemfile and run bundle install --without development test, which won't install gems from these Gemfile groups. No gem, no overriding.
  2. Instead of using hanami server in production, I highly recommend to use directly puma CLI (or the equivalent provided by your Ruby web server of choice.
