looks like a core feature we should implement. do u have some reallife code snippts from other projects?
$this->reader->setAnnotationNamespaceAlias('Hitch\\Mapping\\Annotation\\', 'xml');- AnnotationReader::setAnnotationNamespaceAlias was deprecated in 2.1 and will be
removed in 2.2 (see setDefaultAnnotationNamespace)

Oh i just must have missed that. But well, i saw now, that the Doctrine\Common version is fixed to 2.1 in Hitch. Well then i would say, we forget it and i close this issue. It's not worth to implement it for a deprecated and discontinued feature. Thank you.
