we should investigate more advantages on how linuxkernel uses git notes if they do and either pursue the same or close this issue as it could be that the benefit does not justify or could be a bad practice even if symfony uses it in this way.

this is too adhock and is local merges when there are conflicts with notes, there is a subcommand, for this i think being pro from the maintainer should not be avoided.
