it works, I just replaced System\Config with SystemConfig. Since the code I'm analyzing is not mine, do you think I can detect this with some kind of pre-validation of the PHP before running the analyzis?

Unfortunately our PHP parser is based on a antlr grammar that does not seem to be actively maintained, therefore I guess there is not much I can do, maybe it would be best to use a more actively maintained parser, but I have no idea which one?

Ahh dependency hell! If only Git had a sane versioning system and repo system built in. IntelliJ appears to be using Flex for Python.

You could implement GumTree in Haxe - then you would have access to native AST utilities and users wouldn't have to boot up Java to use it 😛 .
