Oh sure, this is on Ubuntu 18.04 x64.

Ok, now I got your issue. In order to compute the CPU usage (on linux at least), I need two sets of information. You get a new one every time you use the refresh method. Refresh at least twice and you should have the CPU usage.

Aha! Thanks for the information. That is good to know (and makes a lot of sense). Perhaps this should be documented somewhere?
