Yes, I agree. Should be fixed ASAP...

So I am unable to submit the app unless this becomes compatible with iOS7. Any chance of getting it fixed soon?

Applications run if compiled for iOS6 and run on iOS7. If compiled for iOS7 directly, the app is very, very broken.

@jflinter do you have any plan to support iOs7?

jflinter avatar jflinter commented on June 29, 2024

Yeah, although I haven't had any time to work on this project for a while
(and won't for the near future, so no timetable ATM) . If there's stuff
you'd like to see, feel free to submit a PR.

@JamesS237 How did you compile for iOS6? In XCode 5, I don't seem to find that option.

jcspencer avatar jcspencer commented on June 29, 2024

@sohelsd I set the target as iOS 6, although this does not allow you to use iOS 7 APIs

I'm closing this issue, as it isn't productive. FlatUIKit and iOS7 have some fundamental incompatibility, as both were made to scratch the same itch (namely, attempting to remove some of the UI clutter of iOS6). It doesn't even really make sense to use most of these components in an iOS7 world, as they weren't designed for that platform. However, if you want to keep using some of these components, instead of just sitting around +1ing this really sort of vague issue, I'd suggest opening individual issues for things you specifically would like to see fixed. Better yet, just fix them yourself and submit a pull request! I guarantee you this code is doing less/easier to write than you think.
