It is intended behaviour that metrics stick, it is weird that the metrics don't go to the other targets if available. Seems like a regression to me, this used to work.

Fixed the regression, stupid swap of arguments. It now does:

% nc -k -l localhost 6000
spider 4 1410887768
orang-utan 4 1410887768
chimp 4 1410887768

First time it will approximately take 1.5s to "fail over", then for as long as the server remains down, metrics are immediately failed over to another target.
