Yep, this is expected behavior, not a bug. I think you might be misunderstanding what clearProps does. It's simply a tool for clearing the inline css styles of an element at the end of a tween (and it's perfectly fine to use it in a set() call). It is NOT meant to kill or overwrite tweens of those properties.

In your example, you've got a tween going, and then when the clearProps renders, it deletes those inline styles thad been applied to the element at that particular moment, but then they're applied again (correctly) by the other tween after that.

If you want to overwrite specific properties of a tween or kill an entire tween or kill individual properties of a tween, that's all possible using other methods. No, I can just use {x:0} in this case. Thanks :)

Actually, I ended up simply calling .pause(0) to reset the animation, which is even better.
