a year later, still not @simskij at least not really, the short list out of my head is:

the linked issues error messages are huge so that we can tell people that docker doesn't use the same filesystem so they probably need to do something, but in the end it is both too long for the console and possibly not useful 99% of the time, and too short to actually explain well to anyone who doesn't understand docker what went wrong.
