Read only data structures about vector_math.dart HOT 2 CLOSED

Hi,

I agree that returning vectors to users could lead to the user accidentally modifying it. I too have added a getter that is basically => _private_v.clone();. I think I would rather encourage developers to write their APIs like this:

class Foo {
void getPrivateVector(Vector3 v) {
_private_v.copyInto(v);
}
}

This makes it possible for developers to keep allocations low without requiring a new type for read only vectors.
