Release on PyPI about pytype HOT 8 CLOSED

not sure if this will work for you, but we use this pip command to get pytype in the typeshed travis setup

pip install -U git+git://github.com/google/pytype

from pytype.

This has mostly been because it is under active development and not deemed particularly stable yet, but trove classifiers could communicate this. We should do it.

I want to use it as a type checker in graphene and the installation would be much simpler if put as pip requirement :)

Per above, a working pytype entry for requirements.txt for pip is:
git+git://github.com/google/pytype.git

For editable mode, it is:
-e git://github.com/google/pytype.git#egg=pytype
