We can probably author an optional "feature" that pulls in the @magicleap/prismatic
NPM package and presents an ml-model given appropriate user configuration and the right environment (e.g., the Helios web browser on a Magic Leap).

The actual implementation of <ml-model>
is trivial and does very little work. It acts as a facade to a proprietary API (exposed globally as window.mlWorld
) that only exists in the Helios web browser.
I tried stubbing the mlWorld
methods invoked by @magicleap/prismatic
and one of them in particular (mlWorld.createVolume
) is required to access the API that presumably implements rendering.
So, if we want to test support for <ml-model>
, we will need access to a Magic Leap One.
