Turned out this enhancement is more difficult than I initially thought. Because there might be some situations where a new flex item affects the existing flex lines even the new flex item is added to the last of the children because if the new flex item will add a new flex line, the existing flex lines cross size may change when alignItems value is set as ALIGN_ITEMS_STRETCH.

Closing this. Given that it might be possible that the cross size for the existing flex lines may be changed even if a new flex item is appended to the last of the container, implementing this enhancement is not practical.
