A bunch of mobile updates have landed and this issue does not seem to be repeatable. I think it got fixed in the process of dealing with other bugs. Can you check if this is still a problem? Thanks!

Even in iOS 8.3 this problem still exists. No similar problems on Android devices!
After changing the value of a "math_number" or "text" block for example, the context menu reappears and the user is forced to deal with the input dialog again. See example (context menu after entering a value for the first time):
