and maybe
dpkg --configure -a

By the way... the problem has nothing to do with gofax...
Because the desired packages are already installed ;)

dh-golang is already the newest version.
git-buildpackage is already the newest version.
dh-systemd is already the newest version.

That means you are missing curl...
apt-get install curl

Hi Denz,

I got my GofaxIP seems running. i also configured it on SIP gateway as well.
sudo systemctl start freeswitch
sudo systemctl start gofaxip
sudo systemctl restart hylafax

But i am not sure how will i test and look for the logs for it. I am not sure what to do next.
I am very pioneer on this fax ip set up and coding.
Would you help me?

ACME 3820 as my SIP gateway - configured Freeswitch as a session agent
Connectivity - good - i can do Option ping for both interface vice versa.

When i tired to do packet capture from the SIP gateway i am getting Internal server error, How will i know that the fax is working good? how will i do debug on freeswitch? any troubleshooting tips should i used?

The last code or command i am now was on starting the freeswitch,gofaxip,hylafax

On Debian Jessie the logs of freeswitch, gofax.ip and hylafax can be viewed using journalctl:

journalctl -u gofaxip.service 
journalctl -u freeswitch.service 
journalctl -u hylafax.service

For further information on troubleshooting your SIP communication have a look at:

Your next steps depend on what you want to do with gofax.ip respectively with your faxserver...

When gofax.ip is configured properly and freeswitch is getting calls/faxes from your SIP gateway it is up to you to configure hylafax according to your needs.

A good entry point would be writing your own FaxDispatch script for dispatching incoming faxes for example...

Please understand we cant provide a detailed instruction on how to setup hylafax because that is beyond the scope of this project.

But you can find plenty of information about that on the internet or alternatively ask professional consultants (like us ;) for support.

For example see http://hylafax.sourceforge.net/howto/ for a detailed introduction of hylafax.

the freeswitch/gofaxip/hylafax fax status are now active and running but still no fax or inbound/outbound traffic traced only Option ping.

and when i tried to open the zoiper softphone, the extension no longer registering. but before the freeswitch alone i got it registered, but when the gofaxip were installed i no longer regsiter the zoiper.
