This is definitely a priority I'm trying to work on and is tracked at #11
But to make your life a bit easier by removing Step-1, you could perform it by following these steps
- You could avoid Step-1 by setting up a custom Hotkey for the "Open in Gitpod" command like so,
- Now when you hit the custom hotkey (in my case CMD+Shift+i), you directly would be able to see the recently visited repositories....PS: The contexts of these visited repositories open really quick since we've cached them 😉
