Hey @jordanmccullough. Nice job – What I love most about this is that it highlights the value of each of the asset types like we brainstormed about. ✨ I might take it one step further and suggest that the cheat sheets and guides be bifurcated too to call out the value of each.

@matthewmccullough, Good point. That's a remnant of the existing content structure, but a valid point.

Ultimately there will be several "cheat sheets" (Git commands, GitHub Flow, etc.), so this makes sense to separate downloads from resource links.

@jordanmccullough So on the README it would need updating from

  • outlines
  • slides
  • cheatsheets

to

  • slides
  • workbooks

right?

Correct. Thanks for that observation.

Looks great!

My only feedback is that the circles in the Slides section don't quite feel right. I think the text might be off-center in the comps so they might be fine in real life, but I think they convey a Venn diagram, which I don't think is accurate. Maybe try putting them along a line, as if they are commits? I know @muan experimented with that as a design element for https://education.github.com/, but think they would work well here to convey progress.

Also, sorry I took so long to look at it.

@afeld: Totally with you on the Venn diagram. I abandoned that and am happy I have someone else to back me up on that design decision.

Also, I'm going to close this Issue and open a PR 🔜 with the actual code. Again, I got too caught up with design and not just making the content updated and more accessible. Here's to another iteration and PR merge! 😄

The header is getting a custom-designed visual, so don't panic if you see the bland bright blue at the top. 😉

Just realizing looking at these screenshots more closely: is there only going to be one workbook, or still one corresponding to each class?
