We shouldn’t make the same mistake from kaas; when they upgrade they shouldn’t be allowed to choose which version to upgrade to; should default to latest. Customers cannot upgrade now; except for Julien's customer who goes really low level.

Close this issue as you updating apps are now enabled. Create issues for two other tasks.

Created separate issues to track the other two #124 and #123. They are not a priority.
