Cannot get Grafana to work about prometheus HOT 17 CLOSED

Same. It was fine on k8s 1.6 but 1.7 not working.

observed the same issue on 1.10.5 and after looking into chrome dev tool in consol i am able to see "Datasource named prometheus was not found" this panel error for all metrics.

what could be the reason and solution for this issue

I think this project is defunct. Seems like the metric names are all different in k8s 1.10+, or even earlier
