I'm sorry too because I wanted to use this plugin for an indoor navigation project. I still managed to use the plugin locally (with the github code), commenting two lines (I have a compilation error) and trying the example (see the snapshot).
For now I use this local version, but if you need anything with the code, or testing, or documentation please let me know.

Hi,
I've tested the plugin, but don't know if is the plugin itself or the ARCore Framework, but it's slow and not precise and shows a lot of debug messages.
In few seconds I receive dozens of these messages, so I'm not able to debug.
Is there any configuration to set up to remove these messages?
Those messages are Logcat messages...

Hi, yes this feature is in TODO list for this plugin!
I will implement it
from arcore_flutter_plugin.
Do you have any roadmap (deadline) for the Augmented Images feature?
Do you need some help adding this feature?
from arcore_flutter_plugin.
Hi,
would like to trying the new augmented image feature, but I think the dart package repository is not updated (v 0.0.5+1 • updated: Dec 30, 2019). In the published version is not present the Augmented Images feature. In attach the comparison between the 0.0.5+1 version and the one in github.
If you want I can use a local version of the plugin cloning this repo and test that feature,
than you can update the dart package to a new version.
In the following image you can see the differences between 0.0.5+1 and the git master version:
from arcore_flutter_plugin.
The repo is not sync with pub.get because I need of complete something in plugin, I had change a lot and I implemented more features.
But now I m very busy to work a Covid-19 app with my company.
I m so sorry for this.

hi @dariocavada , hope you are doing well. may i know have you fixed or improved the precision and the efficiency of the AugmentedImage function when detecting the marker? i can only use the earth image as marker, i tried to use my own image as the marker but the function doesnt seem to recognise it.
from arcore_flutter_plugin.
Unfortunately I have not used the plug-in for long time.
Next week I'll give a try because I need to implement such feature both for iOS and Android.
I'm investigating also if there are other solutions such as using vuforia + unity + unity flutter plug-in but is not so simple ...
Another alternative, just a work around I would like to try is to have a webview with augmented reality inside using https://ar-js-org.github.io/AR.js-Docs/ or https://github.com/hiukim/mind-ar-js
from arcore_flutter_plugin.
@dariocavada can you please provide me the code for the sample you have shown. I'm doing the same but i'm not getting the result and please let me know where i can find the doc to implement the features like adding a 3d model, video and interact with it.

@dariocavada Hello. Is there any improvement in the image detection update ?

@dariocavada Hello. Is there any improvement in the image detection update ?
Sure, here is the translated text:
I am still looking for the best way to achieve image recognition on both Android (ARCore) and iOS (ARKit). I wanted to start with the library that integrates both platforms: https://pub.dev/packages/ar_flutter_plugin_flutterflow, which seems to be better maintained compared to the original one: https://github.com/CariusLars/ar_flutter_plugin/.
With ARCore, following Google's discontinuation of SceneView for rendering AR objects, finding a comprehensive solution has become even more critical.
Some people use Unity3D directly as a library to have a uniform framework that works for both ARCore and ARKit (ARFoundation), and an advanced 3D rendering engine, suitable even for complex games and interactions.
In the coming weeks, I need to determine whether the best option is to use Unity3D or if it would be more convenient to add image recognition functionality directly into the ar_flutter_plugin_flutterflow package for less complex AR interactions.

Thank you. It might be possible even if I don't create an AR image on the screen. I just want to detect images with AR technology. Can I just use this. @dariocavada
by the way ar_quido is good but. very expensive
