Yeah, we don’t install this library by default. We need to figure out our position here when it comes to optional dependencies.

I think including them all with the base image and keeping the old version as -lite makes sense, what do you think @mattrobenolt?

We now include all optional dependencies with v10 images so gonna close this issue.
If you need to make this happen with v9, you can create a requirements.txt, add google-cloud-storage==<version> there and then rebuild your image.
