I can confirm this behaviour. I created a new folder called qgis2leaf to dump the files into to stop this happening.

You could have the plugin create a new directory called qgis2leaf in a selected directory?

@ermati , @mtravis I've removed the "delete folder if exists" part and implemented instead a cascade that it will create a time specific subfolder in the chosen folder which holds all the other folders.
